His son, James Fenimore Cooper, wrote The Last of the Mohicans, becoming a favorite writer. The Baseball Hall of Fame came to Cooperstown in 1939. Vintage photos and 3 videos included (one of vintage Cooperstown photos; one of Babe Ruth; and a film about the Baseball Hall of Fame).
