When the Cincinnati Reds pay tribute to the military during Friday's game at Great American Ball Park, they should tip their caps to a true patriot, Capt. William McCracken Jr.He's the last American soldier to die during the Revolutionary War. And, he's buried close to another sacred piece of ground: the landing place for Pete Rose's 4,192th hit.
