Posted by: universal12 1 year agoFrom the various strengths and weaknesses within the Devils organization, I believe that scoring, winning faceoffs, and coaching are the keys to their success this upcoming season. Within scoring, I am also including scoring on the power play since they finished in the bottom of the league in that category.

The NJ Devils always put out a strong line. Their defensive style of hockey makes them a solid team year after year. They're actually very similar in playing style to the Dallas Stars in the West Conf. The problem with the Devils though is they are sometimes seen as "boring" on the ice because of the style they play. Brodeur in net has been solid for years, but wont have many left in him, so they also need to start bringing a good backup in to play more games.
