From the article: "Boston Marathon organizers worked through the night to secure tents at the starting line and line up shelters through the course to protect runners in Monday's race from high winds and heavy rains soaking the route from Hopkinton to the Back Bay. Emergency Red Cross shelters were set up in Natick, Wellesley and Newton so dropouts can warm up and dry off."

      LOL! If you were a runner, my dear, you would understand the passion these people have with running. I've been running for 2 years now, and I can't even begin to describe the love I have for the sport. I get such a runner's high when I'm done, it's awesome! Come rain or shine, I'm always doing it. It's such an exilerating feeling... sigh..

      This is the most prestigious Marathon in the U.S. Not just anyone can enter this marathon. Kudos go out to all the people who qualified for Boston.
